Can anyone tell me how to remove the dipstick on a 4l60e in a 99 camaro with the trans still in the car?

Unlock the red tab from the tranny dipstick, it should pull right out.

I meant how to take the whole assembly out of the tansmission to replace it.

yeah there is a 15mm bolt in the back of the passanger side head. should be able to pull it out with the bolt removed

Yep what he said. Not sure how hard it is to remove it from the engine bay with heads and intake still in though. In fact might be really hard to get the bolt of with the intake on too. You might be able to get to it from the bottom though.
