350/400 Installation
1) As far as the tranny goes does it bolt right up to the engine like the old tranny?
2) What has to be done to the crossmember to make it work?
3) Where are you mounting the TA?
4) What length dipstick do I need?
Have a lot more questions but I can't seem to think of them right now. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> Now don't get worried I am not doing the complete install all by myself. I will leave all the little stuff to my mechanic. Just want to do what I can(I like to do my own work). Anyone who has done or knows anything about this install please tell me what you know. If you have any tips or comments please share them.

For a tq arm I just purchased a Spohn one. It is completely independant of the tranny and bolts up to where the factory tunnel brace would go.
For the dipstick I purchased a Lokar flexible dipstick for the TH350/400. It's the firewall mount version. It's about 60 bucks for it from jegs or summit. It mounts on the very back of the firewall under the cowl. I have it velcroed on there so I can get it off easy to add fluid.
The tranny will bolt right up to the block. You'll be able to get bolts in all but one hole so that's 5 out of 6 and that should be fine.

Like drive it smooth for 500 miles or something like that...
I know the tranny is a monster, but I don't want to do something dumb right away..
Thanks

As far as break in goes I have no clue. My tranny guy never told me. I pretty much drove it pretty agressive from the get go.
