Re: anyone with FLP trans please... I don't know about overfill but I think the clutches are the last thing in line to get fluid so if you have a clogged filter or whatever it will slip, no question.

Re: anyone with FLP trans please... I'm probably the least qualified person hear to talk about this but one more thing, you're vacuum line is in good shape right? That is it's not getting pinched and is not leaking etc.
anyone with FLP trans please... I just installed the trans last thursday. Chuck said to take it easy for a few hundred miles. I have done so, but my question is, During a half throttle or maybe less jaunt...the trans has a major "shutter" like clutches grabbing and slipping. This has happened a few times when pulling out in traffic etc. Is this normal? untill I have a few hundred miles on it? I have not tried to contct chuck yet. will wait untill monday. Anyone?

Chuck is sending me a new trans, he said it sounds like the pump was bad in this one and he had no way of telling. He said this is a first for him and HE IS TAKING CARE OF VERY QUICKLY. I should have another trans by Friday.

There's no doubt that Chuck will take care of you, and it sounds like he already has. The one thing you DON'T have to worry about is Chuck giving you the run-around. He'll always take care of the situation so that you're 100% satisfied!
