What does it take to go th350
#3
Tranny itself 800+
torque converter specifically for that application 400+
98 flex plate or a TCI SFI flex plate <179
BMR t-350 crossmember 179
Depending on the output shaft length, a new driveshaft <400
Shifter and custom installation 100+
Tranny cooler would be a good ieda 100+
Pedals if you dont have an auto already.
Speedo ring and sensor if you get the right housing(or the free ABS speedo creation) <150
If you dont want ses lights, some computer work by either you or a shop
I did a complete converision for about 2,700(ouch i hate adding stuff up like that!)
Well, i guess 1400 out of pocket after selling the built 6 spd.

My th350 has a 9" tailhousing, the stock aluminum driveshaft fits perfectly
You might need a torque arm adapter. I bought B&M's 30299 piece, it worked fine. If you have a chasis mounted torque arm you won't need it
The biggest problem I ran into was the shifter & linkage. Still trying to tweak it to work 100% correctly

My buddy(nossboy here) had the same problem, some gears were perfect, when he got to the other side, it was off, never got it perfect. My mega shifter in mine didnt really need any adjustment. 30 seconds. It seems to be hit or miss. <Y biggest problem was waiting 5 weeks for BMR to send me out a crossmember, and the driveshaft guy making it too long lol.

I bought a shorter linkage, be here Thursday. The one I have now is 4 foot, it's WAY too big. I have to loop half of it around the crossmember! The one I bought is 2 foot, I should be able to make it a straight shot. If not, there's a guy local here who can tweak it for me. Wish me luck
