b+m is the way to go. Dropped my tranny temps by 30*, I also installed a second cooler (Hayden) and ran them in-line.The combo dropped my tranny temp from 212* to 168*

You can get the 24k cooler from ls1speed.com for about $54. Very cheap insurance for having a higher stall.

My stall is in my sig. I've been told my 24,000 GVW cooler isn't up to the task of it and I should run another one in line with it? Don't mean to thread hijack.

What are you guys doing if you have the slp CAI, should i just find a lil smaller cooler one and stick it right next to the scoop? B&M makes a smaller one thats about 4 inches wide
any thoughts?

Like I posted earlier. A single B+M dropped my tranny temp from 212 to 182. I then ran a Hayden (tube and fin) inline with it and dropped it another 14*. And that is beating on the car. It would not go above 155* or so at idle.

mounted them "Dope" Style (Near the nose of the car on the passenger side) it's a very easy install and you can do it in about an hour
