Default Converter clutch went out in my TCI 3500

Had problems with my Trans Neutraling out at high rpms. Got so bad I couldn't get the car over 110 once I got it into 4th. My 3-4 shift wasn't working either so I figured trans. So I pulled it and am in process of rebuilding it and my builder said the 3-4 clutches looked good. No abnormal wear. So I sent in the verter for piece of mind. Well turns out the clutch was shot. Sucks I only had about 3000 miles on it and maybe 50 passes. I wish they would back something like that up, guess not. I asked them what we could do to make sure this doesn't happed again and the answer I got was pretty much cross your fingers......

Wonder if that was my whole problem or just part of it?
