I cant find any identification marks or tags anywhere to say this thing is a 3200 stall.the only thing I see on the converter is a mark that says 22003 with a restrike on the 2 to make it say 23003(I think that is the number?).The box has 279015 written in marker on it.How do I know?

Thats correct, the 279015 is the #0 pump which is a 2800 stall. 279615 Is the #6 pump which is a 3200 stall. And part number 279715 is a #7 pump which is 3600 stall. Hope this helps.

You can't just go by the pump number to determine stall. A "0" pump in a stock or near stock car will be about 2800 but that same converter in a diferent car with different mods, different gear ratio will stall different. S&S SS get with who you bought the converter from, depending on your mods you may have the wrong converter.

Oh **** I think they took me literally, that I wanted a 3200 stall.I thought it was common knowledge that the "3200" stalls to 3600-3800 behind an ls1.
