Default ST3500-ST3800---differences

how much faster is the ST3800 than the ST3500 in the 1/4.

I agree my ST3800 was very slow in the 1/4 mile. It took me 15-20 seconds just to roll it past the 60' mark!

Since the ST3500 is already a very good converter, I would say the ST3800 is only an improvement of .05 in the 1/4. You will pick up 3 hundredths on the 60 ft and the rest from the higher shift extension and mph. Both are excellent.

The ST3500 is a much better converter for nitrous because:
1. It has higher efficiency
2. It has tighter internal dimensions (for less loss under the gas)
3. It has higher STR (for lower shift extension under the gas)

i just called Thunder Racing and they said it takes about 4 weeks to receive the Yank and 3 days for the VIG?

is it that long for the Yank?

The long lead time is ususally for Group Purchases. Ordering direct from Yank usually happens in less than a week.
