Default SS 3200 good choice?

Still running a stock converter with the mods in my signature. Is the Yank SS 3200 a good choice? Car ran a best of 12.27 @ 111 with current mods.

Depends how you use your car... Daily driver maybe stick with a 3500... Or if you like me and maybe drive it once a week or on the weekends I would go 3800 or 4000. Race it allot n/a I would go 4000-4400 for sure. I would go bigger than 3200 that is certain......that is dang close to stock.

With a stall on these LS1 cars with lockup you have to remember the computer locks it up and puts it into 4 gear so quick under light throttle or normal driving conditions that you don't even know its there...WOT is a different story. I had a TCI 3500 it drove really nice, not like a stall at all. Just in 35mph and under traffic you could tell it was there. Now I have a TCI 3800 stall and I can hardly tell the diff. from my 3500. Next time it goes out I am going 4000. Would go bigger but I run it on the bottle at the track.

Just a word to the wise if you get a TCI get the billet cover.....the clutch is better since I think it is attached to the cover. Maybe that is true for all of brands, but TCI I know for sure...

The SS3200 is Roger Vinci's converter of choice
I see you have many VHP parts, talk to Roger or Joe as they will answer any ? about this converter in the c-5
He has installed and tested many of the SS3200
Thank's for thinking about Yank

I have the Yank SS 3200. However I regret I went so low. I should and will go a lot higher. About a 4000+.

Go higher, especially with an SS series converter. Look for upper 3k's....at least.

Joe Installed the Yank 3200 Converter for me a few months ago, great choice, If you dont mind using more gas around town then go higher, the SS3200 is great off the line start, that is where it is best,I also have the Vinci Tuner tuned Cam #1. Overall great converter street/strip in my opinion.
