Lightbulb tranny on the way out? been tuning

been tuning my tranny to shift right with this converter and heads. I've done everything from dropping the shift speed to 5600 and shift mph to 30mph from the stock 45 with 2.73's. I raised the rev limiter to 6500 (aftermarket heads). The tranny used to feel like it was barely tagging the limiter and now it feels like it's hitting it throught the shift.
On my 1-2 shift it starts between 6100-6200 rpms and will complete around 6450 (by HPT). After it reads it's made the 1-2 shift )now in 2nd gear) the RPM's flare to 6719 and then it will accelerate fine. Sound like my1-2 clutch is flared and it will get progressivly worse? anyone give me any insight? I can send my log files if anyone needs to see something. thanks for any help gus
