How are they compared to the stockers? When adjusting them, is there some way to make sure every one is at the same level or do you just have to guess?

They are firmer and more precise feeling than the stockers. Also to adjust....GC says every 8 threads is 1" either up or down. The adjusting for the rears can be done with the tires on and the car suspended enough to take the load off the springs. The front requires removing the tires to get ideal access to the assembly, but if you're fast I'm sure adjustments can be done in under 20 minutes.

Sorry my old address is down while I'm in the middle of moving into my new home. You can reach me at dhayashi@energyhawaii.com.
Where is the upper attachment point for the front shock? The stock location?

Yes it bolts into the stock locations. The adjustable sleeve, spring, perch, and aluminum hat all fit on top of the assembly.
Heres my kit I have on my car.

Can you get the shocks adjustable like the HALS?
Nice setup!!

WOW!! Your setup is exactly what I've been wanting to do to my Black Z' - hood, spoiler, and chrome Zo6 rims.

Thanks, yeah you can use the Hal's with this set-up but I'm pretty sure they need to be lightly modified. GC told me the stock DeCarbon's and the Bilsteins are the only 2 shocks that can bolt right up with the GC set-up. Give them a call and talk to Frank he'll hook you up with the info you need to get going.
