Exclamation Tranny problems.

Hey this mornin i woke up and battery was dead..... so i jump start it and let it run to charge.. then on my way to work I try to kindas gun it and it feels like it doesnt wanna go into second... i throw it in second and it goes in gear but its not throwin in like usuasl.. i have to get to hiugh rpms for it to move! is this computer or fluid related? any help would be appriciated!

i put some tranny fluid in it and some lucas no slip and now i dont have 1st gear and 3rd gear..... i need help guys is this just a solenoid or???

Not likely to be a solenoid, both are off for third, both on for 1st, you'd lose 1st and fourth, or 1st and 2nd, if it were a solenoid...anything else would be a guess..hope this helps.. Dave

thanks man now i currently dont have reverse. So what do u think that would be? and it's making a grinding sound in neutral well not grinding but a spinning sound.

i think im just goin to get it rebulit. What internals should i use on thgis project any good names? Kevlar bands? i dunno what do yall think?

Check your fluid, what color is it? If you lost 1st and 3rd, sounds like you tripped the limp mode code for the car. Turn the car off and restart it after a few minutes. Losing reverse and a spinning sound in neutral is news to me though. TTT for ya.

no no first... I took it up to my local dealer. My friend works there he took it for a drive and put the diagnostic to it and nothin was abnormal. Where is rock on located and what are your prices?

if theres no first gear something would be abnormal. what you meant was there is no dtc's?

What are dtcs? i have no first when i put it in manually it feels like its stalling and when i rev it up higher it feels like im power braking.... I'm afriad to go anyhigher on rpms due to i need to drive the car still.

In my case, my car would not move unless I brought it up to really high rpm's. When the tranny was torn down, there was broken metal everywhere. It sucked at the time, but, it was a great reason to buy a racebuilt transmission!!! I'm glad it happened, now.

Hey ktkz2800, Our level 4 transmission sells for 1895.00 plus shipping need a business address to sent it to..saves you some money on shipping...it normally runs bout 75.00 to 150.00 for shipping...hope this helps Dave

level four would be the highest level or?? I'm not really sure. And also would you need a core?
