I have a flp or flt now and a local bad **** 4l65e in my cars. But If I had to buy one from the listed above Dr. Evil would be my choice.

I don't know how the tranny works yet, cause I'm not done bolting it in. But the customer service I have recieved from dave at Rock-On has been nothing short of phenomenal. Call him up and you'll see why.

In bed with Rock-On? You gotta be kidding. We have spent our money like anyone else and bolted in a Rock-On tranny. It has performed flawlessly behind lots of horsepower and has taken lots of abuse on the street and on 28-11.50-15 ET drag slicks at the track and it works! And it keeps on working! As for how long it takes to build a 4L80E.....not long. What you don't understand is that Dave is working on a COMPLETE KIT, not just the tranny. Right now if you want to run a 4L80E in an F-body you have to buy pieces from half a dozen different places and do some fabrication to boot. Dave is working on a kit that will include everything in one package to change over to a 4L80E. He is trying to have everything ready by next spring. If all you want is the 4L80E, just give him a call and he'll get you fixed right up.

im not planning on a 80e..my car is bolt oon only..and MIGHT i mean might way down the road do a cam or something...i would like a converter but im not goi to put on in untill my tranny takes a shyt.. what i have is a car that i drive everyday...its the only thing i have to drive and i need it to be there and work when needed..i would be willing to go to the track a couple times a year...but nothing bad..i dont beat on my car.. i try to limit myself to floggin it 3-4 times a week...i do race on the weekends but mainly roll races...the tranny i need is something that i can put in with a 3200-3500 stall and forget about it.not worrie about it breakin im not makin alot of power like a bunch of lsx cars on here.just something quick and reliable...and if anyone has any input on what i want or a tranny that i think i could benifit from gettin then please go ahead and post...

thanx

ps- im not wanting to spend 2k for a tranny but if i have to to get what im lookin for then i will as long as a gaurantee is there like the artcar...thanx

FLP/FLT is the only built 4L60E I would ever recommend or use in my own cars.

Your car is almost stock and you're worrying about trannys.....at your hp level anybodys will work but if you add some horsepower and need a unit that will stand up over a long period of time then give Dave a call at Rock-On. He cares enough about us to be a sponsor here. That alone should tell you something.
