Default Times with yank pe 4200

I ran the car last night it's a 2002 z28 with pacesetter headers with ORYpipe, ASP pulley, lid, TSP rumbler cat back, 373 gears, weld drag lite wheels and et drag radials, Trans go shift kit, and a yank pe4200. Before the yank it ran 1.85 60FT, 8.04 in the 1/8 at 88.5 and 12.43 in the 1/4 at 113.2, with the yank it did a 1.60 60ft, 7.63 in the 1/8 at 88.9 in the 1/4 12.03 at 111.38. It was hitting the rev limiter 20ft before the end of 1/4, I raised the limit up a 100 rpm and it was ok then but the track when to crap After the 1/8 it's in 3rd, the rpms drop back to 5000 and then go to 6200 at the end is that right? it just does not pull good after the 1/8 Do I need a smaller gear? a taller tire? right now they are 26in tall. or is it to much stall? Plaining on Heads and cam, I all ready have the heads.

If he's running the stock cam that's the problem right there. I talked to Dave @ Yank about this converter and he told me it's for a motor shifting at 6800 or higher. I've got a PT4000 now while running my stock motor. I was told the PE4200 would most likely slow me down compared to my PT4000 while shifting at 6000 RPM. When I put in my 408 and shift at 7000 the PE4200 should be worth some time and some MPH as compared to my PT4000. I'll probably get some base runs in with my PT4000/408 motor combo first to make sure the PE4200 converter gets me the increased performance that's promised. Once again, it's just not a low RPM conveter so don't expect great and wonderful things out of it unless you're shifting way up there.
