Which stall is suitable for G5X3 114 cam and 3.73 ratio? the car for street racing and daily driver ... the car is LS1 98

personally im going with that cam and i have those gears and a 4000stall, its my daily driver.

I run a 4200 with my X2. I used to run a Vig. 3600 and that felt perfect, but it's a whole new animal with the 4200.

camaronut, i see you converted from m6-a4. First, what kind of auto did you use and how much was the conversion. I've thought of doing this myself many times.....

i'd go with a 4200 as well it feels really good in dmoney's car with the g5x2 i can imagine how it would feel with the x3

I'll be running a 4400 in mine. I can't wait! I'll be going from a basically stock car to a G5X3, 4400 stall, and 3.73 gears

i spoke with lou personally regarding this exact question. he told me that a 3k stall would suffice, as the cam makes good power EARLY...however, 3500 would be ideal. getting a stall much larger in a daily driver will really eat your mileage. i say get a 3500 stall (as it will really stall ~200 rpm later) and enjoy it. i have a 4k stall and i will say that it's too loose for reasonable daily driving. i don't drive mine daily, so i am going to restall to 4400+
