stage 3 speed inc yankpt4k problems :(
Had the car dynoed today. And my tranny pissed some fluid. The car started vibrating halfway into the dyno. What are my possibilities? We couldn't get the car to lockup. It locked up at the lower rpms but then after a second it unlocked during the dyno. When it pissed out fluid it was squeeky clean and didn't smell. We rolled it out of the dyno and it stopped leaking. What do you think happened?
It put down 357hp and 380tq unlocked. My tuner tried to tell the tranny to lock but it wouldn't

Tranny is speed inc stage 3
converter is yank pt 4000
tranny pressure is at the stock setting
car has a big tranny cooler
The car is vacuum modulated
I think that is all the info.

Leaky Trans
That just doesn't make for a good day! Where is the trans leaking from? I do know that when you are at full line pressure, in lock up, cooler pressure is about 120PSI. Maybe the oil is spraying out of one of the cooler lines/fittings during lock up operation. Reason I say this is because I've seen it first hand. Once I had a TC that did this only in lockup! I drove me nuts untill I found the itty bitty pin hole in the tc weld. Well figure out where the oil is coming from and go from there. Hope this helps...

Appreciate your post. I will be looking at it closely today. Going to put some more oil back in and then turn the car on and wait to see if it leaks. If it doesn't then i'll drive it around and come back and see if it's leaking then. I guess we'll see.
And i'm still confused why my converter wouldn't lock up even when my tuner told it to?

The vibration probably woke up misfire detection and
PCM commanded unlock. If the converter is vibrating
badly it may just kick the front seal so much that it can't
stay seated. Wonder if there's something come loose
inside that converter? Or just another cracked flexplate?

Update: I broke the tail shaft. Case didn't crack though. My Ujoints were going bad. I'm relieved this is all that was bad Once they fix that we will try and figure out why the car won't lock up when commanded.
