So, can anyone add any info on a lock-up th400 converter? Can it be manually locked like a 4l80e with a switch?

How reliable is it?

Interesting swap.

Any idea how much you will be selling the M6 for if you go through with the conversion??

Dunno yet, the tranny is perfect, never missed a shift with it, got a pro 5.0 shifter, and there's a spec 4I clutch in there now, it's been great, but I don't know what it looks like yet. After I get used to the th400 setup, and am positive I made the right choice with it, I'll be putting it up for sale in the parts for sale section, tranny only has 19K on it right now, and is only gonna get another 50 miles on it drivign it to the shop to do the swap.

my th-400 works like John Kilgore said. i have the kickdown switch wired to a N20 WOT switch. It shifts automatically at WOT at 6500 rpms.
