Need Help With Torque Converter

diameter aftermarket one) than anything else. Especially
at low-moderate load. The horsepower ratings mean nothing
to low-load clutch slippage although a converter with a
clutch rated to lock at WOT, is likely beefy enough. This
is what moved me up to the "Street Performance" series
of Fuddle converters, the clutch. Every model at every
mfr can be different, you need to put the question to them.
You really have four key selection parameters, two of which
get common mention; stall speed, STR, efficiency and the
clutch strength / durability. Note that some converters for
extreme drag lockup use, use clutch materials you might
not like on the street (good grab at WOT, may chatter at
very light applies). Take your time with the applications-
line folks and get your needs figured out.
