I love my Fuddle 4000!

The stock torque converter does not "down shift" (actually with the stock stall rating it is inbetween gears) well in the 40 mph range, and thus there are various "dead spots" that the car will not accelerate well until it gets into the powerband. With a TC the higher stall rate means the rpms go higher when you stab the throttle, EG in the case of your choice the TC will flash stall to ~4000 rpm when you go WOT instead of the stock TC, which IIRC is around 1800 rpm. Thus you will be deeper in the power band and pull harder.
With the Fuddle converters they flash stall to the rated stall with a car that is putting down around 400 rwhp (IIRC), with less it will stall a little earlier (conversely if you are putting down more than 400 it will act like a little larger stall).
Our car has a 3400/2.2str Fuddle in it, and ours flash stalls around ~3400 rpm.
Therefore your car will accelerate a lot quicker with the TC because it will be in a more user friendly (powerband) rpm range. That will alleviate the "dead spots" (35-40, 65-70, 75+)
