If you want cheap, it don't get much better than this....

Oh and if you wanna know how good they are do a search for fuddle and look at the performance they are putting out. I think I've only seen one negative thread on here about them. Alot of people down they but never the people who own them.

Yeah well if I'm not mistaken you are on the SI list with stock manifolds and cats and a raceweight of 3360.

Good job on that, by the way.

When will you be at US41 again?

Hopefully I get my new converter in and transmisison put back togehter this week and make a trip to US41 with PAPA this coming weekend. My old best is in my sig with a TCI SSF4000 but I have a Yank SS4000 going in this week. We'll see how they compare at the track, as I am already certain the Yank will drive a lot better on the street.

Post up please, and let us know your impressions on both street and strip.

You get what you pay for. Here is a listing of members/cars/mods/stall and track results. Look them over then call Fuddle and Yank my 2 recommendations and you should be ready to make a decision.

Yeah i could believe she was that light, i am actually really happy i still got the front and rear bumper supports and full interior, only major weight i took off was all seats, front sway bar, a/c for the ram air i made, 1/4 tank gas when i got to the track, front washer, plastics that go infront of radiator, all floor mats, rear hatch plastics, spare tire/jack, and skinnies, i think that is it

I wont be able to go back to 41 till school is over i go to SIUC in carbondale so it is a 4 hr drive, gas is a killer, we will see though it is really going to be hard to get DA like that again. We can definitely meet up in the summer though. I still need to get my BMR k member installed (30lbs more gone ). Remember to get them tires real hot i thought i got them hot enough and got 1.68, then i did like a 5 second burn out and got 1.57. I know you will love that yank

so basically what i have been reading has been a majority between yank and fuddle..i was actually looking into gettiing the 3500 TCI, but after reading this thread i'm thinking a little diffrently now...is the reason some people wont go with fuddle is because they havent been out that long?? i'm going to check out both fuddle and yank...any recommendations for stall size..mods in sig and LT w/ ory pipe soon to be purchased, plus daily driver

I am 100% happy with my Yank SS3600. I would never buy another brand of converter. I would strongly suggest that you look into them...

I have a tci ssf 3500, which is in my opinion a great convertor to start with. You will think thing that your trans is slipping (the first time you drive the car with an aftermarket stall) and it's worse the bigger you go.
But I have been running my tci for 2 1/2 years, and became 100% use to it. I honestly can not tell I have the stall (other then the exhaust noise). And def grew out of it. I am currently having a yank ss4000 put it. I know I will be happy with it.

Just alittle advice, def. make sure you know what you want. Nothing sucks more then spending money twice.

i think i may save a little more and buy a yank SS3600...it sounds good to me, but also i'm trying to decide what to do///
i'm getting the ws9 hood in friday, should i paint it now and save for the converter or buy the converter now and wait to paint the hood...reason asking having a track night in about a month...hmm

unless you have tires for the converter, like slicks or drag radials i would just paint the hood, you are not going to get the full potential of the stall until you get some tires
