Default Converter causing weird ( low ) idle?

When I am at a stop light, it sometimes feels like my car wants to die, I see the tach kinda fall, then pick up again...this started right after my converter went in.

It's never actually died, so I'm not even sure if it's anything to worry about

could it just be a spark plug problem?

thanks for the help

Alex

its just the smaller size of the converter... some cars learn it and get it straight after a while.. but others dont.. somtimes mine you idle like 500-600

but i raised it to 700 on ls1edit in gear <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Try the pcm relearn procedure. If that doesn't work, turn your TB idle set screw about 1 turn and see if that raises your idle enough to cure it.

I had the same problem after putting in my Yank 4500. I Turned the idle screw a couple of times and it fixed it. Be careful not to turn it too many times or it will throw a code.
