done a lot of research...fuddle 3500 w/ 2.0 str for dd?
Just looking for some opinions here... I emailed John @ fuddle a couple of days ago for what he thought but I still haven't gotten an answer. My car is daily driven. My only mods for now are lid, catback, LTs+ORY. I drive on street tires because my 3yr. old is often in the back seat and I don't want to be driving around in the rain with DRs on with him back there. I do go to the track every once in a while. I figured the 2.0 would be better since I will mostlly be on street tires and it will be more efficient up top. Does this sound like a good setup for me?

i got a fuddle 3,800 with a 1.7 str and let me say its still hard to hook with dr's. Around town its a little loose but im use to it now. The shift extention is amazing, almost no rpm drop(stays above 5k) and the car sounded weird when i first heard it shift. You'll see

any converter other than stock is not going to hook up on the street with street tires, seriously if you are getting a converter and not getting drag radials and are going to try too hook up on the street you are mistaken...i can olny give my yank ss3600 2.2 str like 1/3 throttle and it breaks the tires lose, even from a 40mph roll it will spin the tires WOT, i would go with a 3500 or higher stall with a str of 2.2-5 even a 1.8 str like stated above will not be much different than and str of 2.2, but at the track it ill be more prominant(sp)
just my 2 cents, hope helps some
