wont do the 2-3 at wot in drive... any ideas it will shift under part throttle fine and will do the 2-3 shift fine at wot in overdrive but in drive it bounces off the rev limiter until i bump the shifter in to overdrive then it shifts... i tried it three times and same thing each time. am i missing something? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: wont do the 2-3 at wot in drive... i bought the car a month ago and never tried wot in drive only overdrive so i dont know how long it has done it, i dont have any mods yet i have a shift kit and tc on order. i checked the fluid but will double check it. i also have no way of adjusting shift points yet. it is odd to me that it shifts fine in overdrive though.

stupid question but are you sure it is the 2-3 shift and not the 3-4 shift?

Re: wont do the 2-3 at wot in drive... if it's an A4 check the fluid level. The rear seal on my tranny was leaking and i wasn't aware of it; went to the track one day and my car won't shift up to thrid either. So i replaced seal and topped off the fluid and now she runs fine.

Re: wont do the 2-3 at wot in drive... When I had 3.23 gears, I had no problems on the 2-3 shift until I switched to 3.73s. Then in D I hit the limiter, but in OD I'm fine.

Re: wont do the 2-3 at wot in drive... I am having the exact same problem in my car. It bounces the rev limiter when it does a 2-3 shift @ WOT.. I am going to check my tranny fliud level..
