you guys with strictly bolt on cars; what size stahl are you runing?

I had a 3800 on my bolt on car, drove fine and run best of 7.85@89mph

I used to have a stahl in my car then I upgraded to a stall.

4000 stall.
But I always planned on heads and cam as well.

i would get a 3400 for a bolt on car...good gas milage and it wont get too hot during stop and go trafic during the summer...and will still pull very well..imo

if you plan on staying bolt on, anything up to 3500 rpm is great for street use.

I have the Yank SS3600 and I love it... I'd say you could even go up to a 4000 stall w/ bolt ons... I'm kinda wishing now that I've had mine awhile that I would have went w/ the 4000.... But the SS3600 drives great and I can't say that I get horrible gas mileage with it... still locks up, the difference is in the city driving... but after having a stall I wouldn't have an auto w/out one. My buddy has a stock Z28 and it's weird driving the normal converter when you're used to a stall... but I'd wouldn't go with anything under 3500 stall or else you'll end up regretting it down the road. And maybe be prepared to have the car tuned after the converter is installed.
