what is the best mod that i can do for my stock auto tranny.

Higher stall torque converter and tranny cooler. It will really wake the car up...

so a stall would be better getting first then gears. and also what is a good stall i may have a sts turbo set up in the future.

3000 to 4000 stall, 2.0-2.5 STR
Better than gears, any day.

For forced induction a 3000-3200 stall is good. NA cars need higher, forced induction or N2O lower the stall speed you want.

How about swap it out for a: 4L80E, TH350 or TH400? Best end all be all mod for the stock L60E
Other than that, stall and shift kit, but dont mod the pressure via tuning.

I have to agree, I have 150 miles on the Rossler TH400 and its now the best mod I ever did to the car.

Im best mod you can do with your stock tranny is dont touch it...and start saving for a built one, th400 etc etc...

but really, best would be a stall and cooler...
