Default One shot deal.

So, i ordered a fuddle 3400 stall converter last week. It should be going in on
Sun. IF it gets here in time. The more I think about it, the more I'm tryin'
to come up with items that should be replaced once the trans is out in a few days. First think I could come up with was the front pump shaft seal in the 4l60e. Nothing wrong with it, it's just that the trans will be out very soon to stuff the Fuddle converter in. Should I replace this seal, or any other that you guys can think of? Or should I leave it well enough alone, and just throw the converter in it?

Turbine shaft seal (O-ring on the snout) should be replaced
while you have the chance, if it has hardened up but the
new converter has more clearance you may get some
weepage. Cheap part but seldom stocked, probably have
to wait for it so order ahead. I got a spare because of the
hassle, ended up letting a local dude have it since he was
looking at the same wait but wanted to do the install quick.
I'd replace pump seal and tailshaft seals. You might also
find this an ideal time to do things like servo installs (kind
of awkward undercar) or shift kit (ditto), imagine whatever
you might do to this trans that would be easier standing
up with elbow room.

Good ideas guys... if only money was not an object.. I couldn't afford a whole new trans, so I was looking for just a few simple seals that would be worth replacing at this point. That's all. Already got a large trans cooler installed. After all It's a DD, and I try my best to refrain from beating on it.
