Firmer shifts
I came across a thread on here of how to adjust the firmness of your shifts by taking off the transmission pan and adjusting a screw by 1/8 of a turn for firmer shifts and 1/4 of a turn for tire barking shifts. Anymore is damaging to the trans.
I can't find the thread? it had a link to a page about this.
I have my trannny out at the moment and wondered wether it was worth doing?

This mod is going to raise the mechanical line pressure.
All of the hydraulics will see more pressure full time. It
is a "big hammer" approach to a "screwdriver" problem.
I wouldn't mess it around without line gauges and a good
idea of what max pressure should be; "1/4 turn" from
who knows where? Factory slop could be to the high or
low side?

Ok Jimmyblue thanks for the advice, It's just that I came across that thread while searching for something else and I wondered why no one else was doing it!
I can see why if it raises pressure to much everywhere, I'll leave it alone!
