Default difference between PI3200 and SY3500?

like the title says. anyone go from the PI 3200 to the SY3500? which one would be better for a 250 shot of n20. I don't want to run the rpm's to high.

The Vig 3200 is a 9.5" converter (245mm)
2.2 stall torque ratio (pretty high)
Hard hit off the line.
Average top end efficiency
Good for 1.65 60' times in average LS1 F-Body with slicks or ET Streets

The Super Yank 3500 is a 10.0" converter (258mm)
1.63 stall torque ratio (low)
Soft hit off the line. (good for tire limited applications)
Excellent top end efficiency
Good for 1.80 60' times in average LS1 F-Body with drag radials or possibly stock tires

The Super Yank will be better on a big shot of nitrous because of its larger size and higher efficiency which will give it better holding capacity. Its lower STR will soften the brutal hit of a big nitrous shot too.

But a 250 shot? I hope you're not going to try that on a stock 4L60E. It won't last very long. A shot that big would be better served by a purpose-built nitrous converter like a Pro Yank 3400 Extreme. More aggressive stator, Kevlar Posi-Lockup clutch and 6 bolt mounting lugs vs. the stock 3. Good luck

Pro Yank 3400 Extreme can you tell me about this converters specs like you did above please. this is exactly what I was looking for in a response. you hit it right on the nail. I didn't know it was 6 bolts as opposed to the 3 bolts. and no I won't be running on the stock 4l60e tranny. I will have the upgraded Speed Inc 4l60e. I will use this trans until I have enough money in the future to get a different tranny with a trans brake so I can have a spool instead of a posi. I am in my mid 20's and still working on my 2 degrees and saving up for my Tahoe z71 so I can trailor my SS to the track. thanks for your help.
