New stall Do I need to Retune??
I use to have a TCI SSf 3500 stall and stock tranny. I just purchased and installed a Finish Line Transmission Level 3, which also includesa Trans go HD2 Shift Kit and a Vigilante 3200 Stall. Do I need to retune for the new Level 3 Transmission and Vig 3200 stall? If so I plan to go to Speed Inc. for a basic Baseline Tune.
Another quick question is there a possible way that a car can be tuned the wrong way? Just a quick question.
Thanks
Robert

no need to retune when doing transmission work (unless you want to adjust shift points or valvebody pressure... but i dont know if that can be done on your cars)
yes a car can be tuned too rich, too lean, too much timing, not enough timing... but if you go to reputable tuner this will not be a problem (just ask for a print out of the a/f ratio and a knock sensor readout to make sure)

The basic tuning stuff is only about $150 I think.... but tell them TJ Swanson referred you and you might get a discount... I know I mentioned I was referred to them and they helped me out real nice! Talk to Larry, he'll take care of ya.
