yeah thats the thing everyone says oh its the tune blah blah blah but the converter is not even trying to lock but it is SUPPOSIBLY locked according to the computer, so the tuning is not off the comuter is saying locked and all the stuff in the trans is changed to make the converter lock bt it still is not locking. i hope this new converter fixes things because john is a great guy but i don't know how much more i can take from this.

It was just an opinion buddy
Really? You live fairly close, so I'd put some money on my Fuddle vs. your overpriced junk if you really want to. You are the one getting defensive. Try getting customer service from Yank.

Now you can buy race parts from who ever you like, but when they say NO BREAK IN NECESSARY,well i would be a little uncertain about something like a converter that contains wear parts in it.Now im not in the transmission business BUT i can tell you, my YANK converter was broken in by YANKS instructions and now has OVER --500-- passes down the quarter mile without a FAILURE!! so judge for yorself, some times things cost more for a reason,IMO,id rather spend my time racing other than pulling my trans in and out!!
Jackasses. Junkyard? Right....that's why if you buy a built TH350/TH400, it's made from previously used cores, right? So a Rossler or Yank transmission must be junk too because it's not all new. People like you who are so hung up on brand names and not actual real reputations make me laugh. Think about how much faster your car could be if you actually spent money intelligently....there's a thought.

Fuddle cannot do more than send you another torque converter, if it is in fact the torque converter causing the problem. What more can you ask from Fuddle. It could be something as simple as, the input shaft (lockup) seal to torque converter is torn.......could cause this.

Damn everyone needs to settle down, hell yeah i will race my yank versus your fuddle ~3600 with a similar str of 2.2 with same basic mods and weight. That is why I said it...Come to US41...i was not trying to get into the debate over which converter is better, but everyone keeps on saying yank is the same as fuddle or fuddle is better. I am not arguing it is not a good converter for the money, it is. It is just like the arguement over pacesetters vs. qtp hvmc, can you honestly say that pacesetter are better, no. Do they cost less and preform close (not the same) to as qtp, yes. Bottom line some people like to pay a little more for that little extra performance. ...and nowhere did i say that the customer service with fuddle was bad...it is probably the best i have heard of

Haha...looks like i gotta pull the cam out, put the stock exhaust back on, throw about 300 lbs in my car, and drop my stall speed. Not going to happen, unless you want to get some exhaust, a cam, and gut your Z.

haha no not in the plans yet... i still DD my car so the cam would really kill the gas mileage, plus gas prices are going to probably hit 3.50 easy this summer...the 300 lbs would be the only easy part to do, what size cam do you have and what is the fastest you went with it

I have an ugly cam....Thunder Racing TRak cam, 233/235, .648"/.598", 112 LSA. It's pretty badass but not a great gas mileage component. I haven't gone to the track with the cam, but I did hit 12 flats on bolt-ons with street tires.

8bangar i was merly making a comparison of buying parts from a junk yard and having to replace them over and over again untill you get one that works. i was not trash talking fuddle, saying it was a junk yard converter. You need to read a little slower PAL. I think my combo runs pretty good for whats in it. I dont see any numbers in your signature by the way.
