fire..what mods do you have? and typically when you spray a converter will feel more loose or more slipping but thats the nature of the beast...thats y you usually buy a smaller (nitrous) converter.. just my .02

slim I'm running all the bolt on's 231/237 tsp cam....yeah I kinda understand what your saying but before this new tc I had a py4000 yank in there for over 3yrs. without any problems at all but it was the 6 bolt nitrous tc..but at the sametime when I decided to get on the bandwagon I ask the folks at the place where I bought this tc and they told yeah it would easily handle a 100 shot oh well all I do know is with the yank 1.50's 60' wasn't uncommon

my best run with OUT the convertor in the 1/8th 8.718@83.41mph with lid and nittos... 2.021 60ft

out side temp was 75*

my best run in the 1/8th WITH convertor was 8.404@82.80mph with convertor lid and nittos 1.861 60ft

outside temp was 95*

is that run on point with those mods?

I too feel somewhat weary bout my fuddle too........Look at my car in sig. I have full bolt ons, full suspension, and even cammed and i cant get out of the 12.50's at 109..........I dont think all my power is gettin down, and my tranny is fine

i don't think it's your converter. i have intake, exhaust and a 4k stall and i trap what you do.

i am going to restall very soon, but i am thinking of selling my converter and trying a yank or vig, just for the sake of comparison.

yeah that is definitely a little low mph, mine traps on a positive da a day around 112...this is why i try to lead some people to get a yank or vig, to each his own...dont wanna start another battle...but to autodad i think you are at the same mph if not a little more, 800 ft da is worth around a tenth so figure that out and you should be right around 103-4...also i still have all of my torque management it is not going to make you any faster just add more stress like a shift kit, at the most it might help out 0.05 secs. Tune should really not be needed the trans shifts by mph so as long as you aren't banging off the rev limiter you should be fine...get some more practice and for whats its worth i stall my car up as high as it will o to get the best 60ft.

that's very strong for a "stock" automatic.

and everyone's definition of "stock" is different. mine trapped 101 stock...stock as the day it came off the showroom floor, with every piece of plastic, etc in it. i think the raceweight gives that one away...

yea 103 makes me think im right on point... just thought the convertor would raise the traps a little... after review here looks like i would still be trapping 103 if it was not 95 degrees out it.

Hmmm, I went 13.5 @ 103 stock, then dropped to 12.5 @ 106 with just adding Yank 4000 and some ET Streets. I would have to say that you should pick up with a tune. This was in 85 degree weather and humid as hell. Added headers and td and went 12.2 @ 110.

yea that is what jon at fuddle said... i just thought that even with out a tune i would gain mph and lower et least .5 seconds... did you add a tune when you did your convertor? what did you tune just the tq mangagment? i mean my shift points are perfect. shifts at 6k falls to 4800... thanks for your post... i did not expect to drop a full second by adding the 3400 2.1 str fuddle but i thought i would at least run 13.0 at say 104 105...

wow you dropped a full second by adding a yank 4000... god damn. good run man.
