wow you dropped a full second by adding a yank 4000... god damn. good run man.
Yes, i had the car tuned when i added the converter. the car would actually stall out at times backing up into the burnout box or if i was at a light, started to go, then had to hit the brakes (dumb drivers in front of ya). Had to fix the tune. As far as tq management, i know the tuner "messed" with it, but couldn't tell ya what all he did. I did not expect to drop a full second either. When I got my timeslip, I was like...."Holy Shiznit" . I was very impressed to say the least. With a hundred shot, stock manifolds and exhaust I went 11.5s @ 116. I'm sure that once you get the car tuned you'll be just fine. You should pick up mph and drop et.

the only converter comparison i have is going from 8.73 to 8.18, with the only addition being the converter. i know i could've dropped more off, but the stock tranny tune was killing me (i have a harsh shift kit) and i bounced RL like 7 times on the 2-3 shift.

i have no doubt that i would've dropped close to a second off my ET, but i didn't make it to a prepped track before adding the intake and exhaust.

My trap speed stayed about the same after installing a Fuddle 3400 2.1. I ran last year on street tires, no tune, and stock converter and went 13.8 @ 105 mph. This year with Nitto DRs, a mail order tune, and the Fuddle 3400 2.1 I went 12.9 @ 105 mph.

If exhaust is on the way just wait till you get that in before you get it tuned

i have a vigilante 3800 stall and using 255/50/16 mt drag radials, i tried launching the car many differnt ways. And found out that if i do good burn out and Foot stall the car as much as i possible can without having the car jump foward off the line, then I imediatly go into wot 100 percent thorttle, I found this way to be the best for me, I tired launching at idle and lower RPM but the car will trap slower and the ETs are slower when i do any other launching technique.

that info right there makes me smile bro, I think it could be all in my foot work... Like I said above, I tried 2 times from 1k rpms and got 100mph traps. then i tried it at 2k rpms and got 101.9 but had to leave after that run... I belive I might scrape off another .1-.2 tenths and trap 103 even when its hot if i stall it higher.... man that makes me feel better. thanks for the info!!!
