did Ed Wright raise the line pressure when he did your PCM? He often does that automatically if you don't tell him not to do it. Increased line pressure is bad for a built tranny.

Yes PSJ I have a 85mm SLP descreened MAF and the car's tuned for that.
Ragtop Ed increased the line pressure, but not maximum and Mike at Yank said to tell him to put it at 100% as firm as it goes for WOT.

I was running a 4L60E in my LS1 powered 4X4 S10. I have burnt the 3rd gear clutch pack out 3 times. I use a TCI controller for the trans and run the pressure high to try and prevent slippage of the clutch. I had different people build it, and it worked great for a while after each build. My truck is heavy, 4200 pounds, and I run it hard. I am in the process of installing a 4L80E. I am tired of changing the trans every year.

Uh if the tranny is vacuum modulated the PCM no longer controls line pressure.

I'd try a new or different valve body ... you may have porosity in your casting and not know about it ... just a thought.

If you are running a descreened MAF then the line pressure will be adjusted down by the computer. Why don't you get another tranny and have the car re-programmed with the stock MAF ends by Ed? With the amount of power you are running I would think that this ** could ** be your problem.
