everybody with a STALL come inside!!!
sorry about all the ?'s i just got a 99 z auto and know nothing about stalls,,,
the car is mainly going to be a street car, DD, with all bolt ons and either 3:73's or 4:10's!
Also expect to loose some gas mileage.
Go big or you will regret it. Ride with someone who has swapped out convertors and see what works for you.
My gas mileage did not change ,gotta love the lock-up convertors.
In town i TRY to keep the r's down due to Borla /Hooker LT's and no-plate.
Can get a little highstrung sounding even at 35 mph,get LOTS of looks

i went with the 3200 to be more streetable. the difference between no stall and a stall is night and day, it really wakes up the car.
i just recently installed mickey thompson e.t. streets and the car hooks like a bandit.
since my stall has only been in the car for a few months, i can't say whether i would have gone bigger or not.
for the way i use my car i am happy with it for sure
xxtheonlyxx....I ran a 3000 Yank with stock cam...it was ultra nice. Bigger, I wouldn't know. But read above advice. In the end if your going cam etc, be prepared to put the info out there so the right TC can be made for you. Enjoy.
FWIW, I've run 3000 Yank, 3600 Fuddle, 4000 Fuddle and now a 4000ATI. The 3000 and 3600 handled the nitrous very very well. The Fuddle 4000 did pretty good, but the ATI 4000 is not good, its not built for the weight and nitrous etc.. Both Fuddle TC's rocked on the All Motor runs.
On my current 02 Z28, I'm going to go with a bit smaller of a stall. Probably 3000, maybe 3200. I want to retain the stock "tight" feeling and still get some good performance.
