Default Edge converters?

Has anybody heard anything about Edge converters. Its seems to be a pretty customer friendly comapany. They have a 1 year warranty and a 100% satisfaction gaurantee or your money back. There converters seem like there priced fairly around $500. Any good or bad things experienced from edge converters.

They are very popular in the b-body community. Many members on the www.impalassforum.com run them in their cars, myself included. Been running a9.5" 3000stall problem free for 1.5 yrs from them.

GREAT customer service and a GREAT product. The ONLY downside is they are based out of California, which may not be a downside for you if you down live on the East coast.

Im in Mississippi but they have responded and gave me their ideas for a good converter, also they will custom make 1 for my application. I think I might roll the dice and take a chance with 1. If it sucks I will send it back and get my money back.

Trust me you won't wind up having to send it back. Andre is the most knowledgeable guy at Edge, hopefully you have talked to him.

yeah thats who it was Andre,
Fuddle just wrote me back from an email i sent them last week suggesting a 3600 stall with a 2.2str $400 and their having a sale starting july 1st. The 1 edge recommended was 3400stall with a 2.45 str for $525. The Fuddle is cheaper and it would be nice to get 1 new under $400 but i dont know I want the 1 that is the best for my car from stops and roll races. I will be swapping to 3:73s pretty much the same time as my converter. which 1 do you guys think is better

If you're going to 3.73 go with a lower str, like 2.0. That 2.45 str and 3.73s are gonna be tire killers. You'll also want a lower str for your roll races that require top end efficiency. Lastly, get as big a stall as you think you'll be comfortable with. After driving with my 3400 stall for 2 weeks, I really think I could handle a 4000 stall.

^^^ yeah same here. Even in my boat I wish I would have went with somewhere around 3500-3600rpm instead of 3000

I had a edge converter in my mustang and it raped from a stop. It would take just about anything out of the hole the only problem was it seemed like it killed my topend...i'll be going Yank PT4000 in the LS1
