MY fuddle track fun
From everything I have read in the drag racing sections of several f-body sites (including this one) my mph results are normal for a stalled auto.
It's pretty much common knowledge that Yanks effiency is a little higher then that of the "bang for the buck" competitors like TCI, Fuddle and Midwest so I wouldn't be surprised if my trap speed went up by 1-2 mph if I were to switch to a Yank SS3600 for example. But I personally don't care about the trap speed that much. I flash to 3500, can hit low 1.7's on 245 Nittos and my lock up is right on at 40 mph. I'll probably run a Yank eventually but for now I live by the philosophy:
It aint broke so I aint fixn it
Last year on old worn out nittos....I cut 1.91 60`
Changed nothing besides adding a 4000 stall...same old nittos on some old rims...1.71 off a 1000rpm launch....mph was 1-2mph higher then before....in the 1/8th mile...and it was a shitty pass hitting the limiter.

Also, just try to flash it from idle...Thats what I did to get 1.55s out of the lil 255s...Every converter likes different launch techniques...Swap converters if you want, but seriously look into the 255 M/T Radials..work smart not hard...
