Default Flushed Transmission, 2 days later, 1-2 Problems and P0751 Code

Jiffy Lubed it - Flushed Tranny. 2 Days later when going to 2nd gear it hangs and revs for maybe 2-3 seconds - then shifts. 2 to 3 and 4 are all fine. 1 day later SES came on. Got scanned and it P0751 - Shift Solenoid A Stuck Off.

Researched this site. No I do not have a stall. I do believe the flushing at 77,000 miles would cause gunk to move to new home - 1-2 Shift Solenoid.

How hard is it to replace / clean. I know its inside the pan toward the back - where? Anyone else do this ?

First, make sure Stiffy Lube gave you a full pan of
ATF before you left.

Shift solenoids are on the back of the valve body. There is 2 side by side, and are identical. I would replace both as long as your in there. Just pull the clip and swap em,no need to remove the valve body or anything.

Well I replaced both Shift Solenoids and it didn't fix it. Yes its been a few months, the car has been sitting there., and now I want to fix it again. It is still having the same issue where even at part throttle it doesnt engage., just holds the 1st gear a bit. 2-3 and 3-4 are all fine.

Any other suggestions?

sounds like during the flush there may have been some debris that got forced into your valve body and now may be causing some/one of your valves to stick

Would that throw a code?

Any chance they sell something to flush that out ?

if there is debris stuck in the valve then you may want to pull the valve body and clean it.
