Default which converter

I am going to buy a 4000 stall converter but i am unsure which brand makes the best one. Yank and Fuddle seem to be the best two brands. Which one should I get?

They're both good, I have Yank and love it... Just a suggestion though. I see you have a TRex cam. I would get something a little looser than 4000. You'd be a lot happier with the results of something like a Yank PT 4400 because when it comes to the TRex you really want the RPMs up there where it makes it's best power. I would even suggest something looser than 4400, but I don't wanna scare you. lol I have the Yank PT 4200 BTW.

monica, apparently you missed the "next - tnt f2 kit" in his sig. get much more stall than 4k with the juice and you'll blow right through that stall.

i vote a 4k nitrous-minded converter, as it will perform well n/a, and REALLY well on the bottle. i have the cheapo fuddle converter and it has worked flawlessly thus far (10k and ~200 passes). if you go fuddle, get the top of the line n2o converter, you won't be disappointed.

Oh ****, I sure did. I stopped when I got to the TRex. lol But then I wouldn't recommend the TRex for spray either....
BUUUUT, yeah, you're definitely right about stall choice if he's just GOT to put spray on there.

I'm waiting on a 4000 2.4 STR from Fuddle. John was very helpful in picking the right converter.

go over to the advanced tech page and read some on the thread regarding nitrous cam choices. it is interesting. i'd love to spray on the t-rex...but i will spray on a cam comparable to the t-rex instead.

I've seen someone run nitrous with the TRex and I wasn't impressed. Of course, it depends on how much spray a person was putting on the car... I'm waiting for someone to try the Ms4 with nitrous because I want to know if it likes it. If so, I might have to throw a kit on my car.

I have a Fuddle so I will suggest it. Not knocking Yank but I decided on the Fuddle for the price and warranty. So far so good

Precision Industries Vigilante is right there with Yank, and is a matter of opinion as to which is best. I have seen good examples of both over the years. If you do an extended search on these two, you will find this to be true.
