Car shifts extremely early, converer won't lock up, only when compressor is on

mine does something similar after going from 2.73 to 4.10 gears.
With the stock tune it shifts ok but speedo is way off, guy tuning the car changed the gear ratio in ls1 edit and after that it goes through the gears and locks up in 4th at 30mph(w/o any other changes) tried adjusting the shift mph and it always did this same thing
