I had a very good experieince with Rock On. Dave took the time to explain what he was doing and why. I drove the car up there and they pulled my trans and upgraded it. I had it back in a couple days. Its only got 20-11.80 second passes on it now due to a broken rearend.

There are some people here that have had a bad experience with most every vendor out there whether its FLT, Rosler, or Rock ON. I suggest you do your research when someone sends you a pm. I read all the posts, figured out what was going on, and decided to go with Rock On.

I vote for FLT, by far the best customer service I've ever received from a business.

I carry the Vigilante, and Edge TC's. But from what I have seen over the last 7 years, is that Vigilante & Yank are about the same (preference), Edge has done well, Fuddle seems to be off to a good start (about the same), Pro Torque is a good one, Mid West seems to be down a little. Hughes and TCI down a little more, then there's Art Carr, B&M, etc. I won't warranty a transmission with the last 4 mentioned. I am sure that I missed one here, so if I have let me know, if you want my opinion. Remember there are exceptions to this, as I well know, this is from what I have seen over the years on the average complaint & comebacks.

FLT.

Chuck is THE 4L60E MAN!

I was VERY happy with their Level IV 4L60E in my WS6. It was vacuum modulated. FLP/FLT service is second to none. I was extremely happy with the entire experiance in dealing with them.

Never used those companies; but I had mine rebuilt by Trent Palmer in Duncanville at Specialty Transmission and have literally had more than 75 passes and some hard drag racing twice a week and have had ZERO problems with it! It is around $1200 and he carries a warranty unless you overheat it. He is awesome, if you go with him tell him Michelle with the Green TA sent ya!

I have talked to both Rock-On and FLT and I have decided to go with Rock-On. I talked to Dave multiple times and he was very helpful and very easy to work with. Rock-On is also a lot closer to me than FLT.

I had to Vote for the FLT Tranny.
I had a Level IV and Upgraded to a Level V due to Mod Upgrades and the amount of
Track time I see. My SS is a Street/Strip car running a Yank SS4000Extreme Converter.
It's Vaccum Modulated, and it's got all Cryogentically Treated Intrernals.
Oversized Pumps and Borge Warner Billet Shafts. You can go to FLT's website and
look at everything Chuck and his staff install in their Tranny's. I've spoken to Chuck
on numerous occassions about my tranny and asked for his professional opinions on
converter usage. The man is a worth of Knowledge. Best part is... that if he didn't
answer the phone he would call back at the end of his day. As he himself works on,
and Tests every Tranny in his shop. Tons of Props to Chuck and his Staff at FLT.
Sorry, No dealings with Rock-On so it's not fair for me to say anything about them.
Good Luck!

I've had the Level V Tranny for about 5-6 months now.
I recently finished Installing everything back in the SS for the
2006 Hot Rod Power Tour. I've put close to 5k miles on it since the
Installation and have only attempted to track test it ONCE on the
Power Tour. Needless to say....Street Tires do NOT agree with a 4000 Stall.
Yes,...I drive it every chance I get. Not too comfortable in the rain though.
Just a little too much throttle and there goes the rear tires.
When I had the Level IV Tranny..... I Beat and Beat, and Beat on that thing
and never had any issues.
Best times with ONLY a Cam and a Vig.3200 Stall were 11.40 @118mph w/ 1.58-60ft.
