What is a good trans fluid?(post up)

The Mobil non-synthetic has been a very good fluid for years for the vast majority of street driven vehicles. For a synthetic, Amsoil has proven itself to be one of the best, with Redline doing well also. For severe duty, high horsepower, road racing, Monolec 7500 from Lubrication Engineers is the best I have seen.
any Dexron Mercon III will be fine. there is minimally any difference if any between brands. my trans builder said that Napa Dexron would be fine. I have run Valvoline and Castrol.
I use Castrol DexIII because it's one that has
good anti-chatter additives ("meets all"). With
an aftermarket converter and a non-standard
clutch material system you want to find a fluid
that minimizes chattering, hooting, etc. on soft
applies.
