just like mentioned above ive looked and looked and cant find a good answer. id love to save myself some money since i already have efilive for my tuning. also if i go with a manual valve body do i still have to do any tuning with the pcm?

What vehicle is the 4L65E going into? If it is in your Silverado SS, then you do not need anything extra besides EFI Live. If you are swapping the 4L65E into a non Gen3 platform without a Gen3 ECM, then you would need a TCU.

i am swapping it into a 3rd gen firebird i will have a pcm and harness made for the firebird. and i will tune it with efilive.. also if i go manual valve body in the trans will there still be any tuning to do to the trans since i will be shifting it all the time? i think we are talking about the same thing pcm=ecm or is there a difference?
