Default Tranny cooler? In series or seperate from stock cooler?

Getting ready to install my new TP4400. I think I will get the B&M 19,000. Is everyone running it seperate from the stock cooler in the rad or running it through both? Mounting pics would be nice also.

Get the 24,000 B&M cooler. Run the cooler AFTER you go through the radiatior on the return line to the trans. You'll also need a deep pan with fins. I'd recommend the TCI or B&M from JEGS.COM

In series; after the oil goes through the stock cooler. The combination of a 160 T-stat and cooler keep my temps low.

OBSSSD's suggestions are a very good idea if you plan to auto-x.

Ragtop, they are also good if you live where it's 100+ several months out of the year

Top line is the return.
Get at least a 22-24,000GVW cooler.
Most people mount it in front of the Condenser.
Whatever brand you get; make sure it has instructions, parts, etc.

Are there any advantages to using the cooler as a standalone device? That's the way mine's hooked up but I'm going to switch to a bigger cooler soon... not sure about inline/series w/stock radiator though

If you bypass the stock cooler you are losing cooling and capacity in your system, especially if you are running a cooler t-stat..
