I went with a 3200, thinking any more would be silly.
Now I am looking for a 4000.
EDIT: I've since installed the SS4000 and I love it.

Is it the best? Probably not. Is it a good value? For me it is. Your mileage will vary. Don't believe all you read here, including my posts. Trust your own judgement.

3200 minimum... I like the 3600 personally... for 2 years I was running a yank 4400 and loved it, but since I'm not racing this year (tired of breaking ****... car is finally back on the road since october when I broke a trans and torque arm) i went back to a more street friendly 3600

I'm switching sides and coming to the auto world with a Rossler built T-braked TH400 and an ATI 8" 4000 stall converter. The car will see quite a bit of street time until I buy another LS1. I'm putting one of B&M's bigger coolers on it though, so I should be alright....I hope.

How does that ss3600 compare to the 4k stall? I dont know if you guys noticed but it took him almost 3k rpms just to start moving. How do you consider that streetable? I have never ridden in a stalled ls1 so I am speaking from ignorance but that seems pretty high for daily driving.
