Default Tranny cooler question

I've searched and talked to a few 4l60e owners and they all say a tranny cooler is not needed at the bolton level without a stall. What do you guys think?

Tranny overtemp is the #1 reason for failure. Dont believe them guys they are idiots. Put a tranny cooler on and do NOT use the one in your radiator. It heats up the tranny fluid to the same temp as your engine.

Its cheap insurance if your beating the hell out of your car all the time.

I have always put an aftermarket cooler on all my auto tranny cars.....relatively cheap and easy mod that prolongs the life of your drivetrain. Just do it.

Another vote here for the trans. cooler. They're cheap insurance for your investment. We have the B&M 24K cooler. It was like $60.00 and is a simple install.$.02

I was jsut reading about this on another site. It said that for every 20* u shave off the tranny temps u double the life of the tranny. And that a good cloer will lower the temps by about 60*. I have no clue how accurate this is but im sure its 100% accurate if u make more then stock power or have a aftermarket TC. GL man
