Well burt fluild is not the cause but rather a symptom , I fear you have a burning 3-4 clutch , how does it feel on that shift at light throttle

You mean you had the transmission built wih parts similar to what we put our transmisions,But theres alot more to building these or really any transmission than just parts , The person doing its is easily just as if not more important,
We dont however sell parts ,

Slip in the clutches is what burns fluid inside the trans.
Burning smell, is more likely a little weep hitting the exhaust.
Smell the dipstick (heh) to see if the fluid that's inside, is
burnt. The shift flare might relate more to the fluid circuits
(like, misinstalled, misdrilled shift kit or some internal leak?)
than the fluid but once a friction has glazed you're pretty
well screwed and can flare out even with things working
"right".
Was this problem present before the rebuild, was the 3-4
mentioned part of the rebuild, think about what was touched
before the problem showed up.
Also has anyone been messing with the trans pressure settings?
There are things you can do to screw up WOT shifts if you try
to raise pressure limits above stock and don't fix other
wierdnesses in the tables.

Before i did the LS1 install i never drove the car. The the owner for the motor and trans messing everyting up in the tranny. So i just had the shift kit put in with clutches. Not sure what they were though. I have messed with the pressure cause i didnt feel like it had one at all. I also have a 3500 stall. I did some other little stuff just for the TC. Do you think my tranny is overheating?? cause its fine when its cold, but when it heats up and does it??? Maybe i should try a different tune see what happens...
