Default post your favorite 4 speed auto shifter!

i am thinking the b&m quicksilver or another one of the ratchet styles from them or hurst.

what are the pros-cons of this type?

it will be going into a manual console.

thanks

my dad has a B&M ratchet shifter in his truck with a 700R4. I love the thing.

I have a hurst quarter stick pistol grip in my nova and love it! But if you want something serious then turbo action is the best.

Did he make his own lever for that?

Seemed to me the quicksilver was too long to come out with that look.

sounds like you already got your mind made up? thats cool. I love my B&M hammer shifter. it ratchets in both directions, and the reverse lockout lever is very easy to use.

never mind the temp. lockup switch hanging out there. last minute mod before I hit the track this fall. I'll make a new switch panel that will be like that one, but for three switches/lights. the other switchs are for my fan and EWP. so I can cool down real quick in the pits at the track.

Irocss85-
I like the look of those shifters, and how you did it with the stock M6 console... But I dont care for the height of that thing at all.
After seeing that I know what not to get

here's another shot that shows the height better. not sure what you mean? its not any taller then typical shifters. and def. shorter then the pistol grip shifters. ohwell, to each his own I guess. I love this shifter.
