Default Built 4L60E

What exactly does a "built" 4L60E consist of? Can anyone give me a list of the parts I would need to acquire to "beef up" my tranny before it finally gives out. Right now I have a B&M Cooler and a Vigilante 3000 stall, every other part of it is stock. So what are the parts I need to handle about 600rwhp? Stronger clutches, bands, etc??? What all is there?

Check out the listings of our level 4 and 5 units. These are the parts that I would use. Then go to our online store and start pricing it out. Vince

What about spraying through the shifts on a FLT Level4? I understand that if you dont spray the shift it will last longer but is this level trans. built to take that kind of abuse?

We don't recommend spraying through the shifts on any of the 4l60e based units. Most guy's use a window switch and they work well with this method.

Depends on the setup if it was a 75 or 100 shot with our LEVEL 2 or Level 3 I wouldnt worry about it , With higher setups then I would use the window
