i figure why not post here on the automatic tranny section. maybe its easier rather than putting it on the internal section. i plan on doing all bolt ons and a 3200 stall with 3.73. i cant decide if i should go with a 228/232 ish size cam or slightly bigger? i have no intentions of going 10's and it wont ever see the track. lets hope we get lots of feedback!

As far as converters go I had a vigilante in my old thirdgen 383 and it was perfect. I know Yank makes some of the best also. I thought Fuddle was out of the scene, a friend of mine has a Fuddle 3400 and it works great too.

I'm not exactly in the same catagory but I run a 230/244 cam in my LT1 with a fuddle 3200. Soon I swapping out the fuddle for a Yank 3600 or 4000, havent decided yet. The car is pulling 12.3x's all day and drives almost like stock on the street. From what I hear Vig converters are on the looser side than Fuddle or Yank.

I have a vig 3200 and a 224/228 cam on 115 and it has dropped my 1/4mile time from 12.4 @ 115 with stock converter and cam to 11.9 @ 113 with converter and cam. So far i love the stall but A) i cant get it to hook up no matter what i do (nitto's sux) B) when i went to the track with the stall and cam the trans was on its way out. 2-3 slipped bad. as far as 60' time it dropped from 2.4 to a 2.1. i wish i would have gone bigger like a vig 3600. on the dyno i lost 20 rwhp but it did wake the car up nicely

TSP Torquer V2
TSP LS6 PRC Stage 1/regular size valves/spring upgrade
3:73 gears
400+ RWHP unlocked (what don't)
12.0153 @ 114.21 ( what matters)
cam and heads work great with 3200 Vigilante. It throws it rite to that sweet spot when you nail it. Excellent daily driver. The car is driven everyday.

i bet thats a mean a$$ setup dedge. i would try and run the torquer 2. it would be the biggest cam i would run. i just dont want one of those cams that the rpm's have to be really high to make the power. but i want the power and torque where its useful on the street. i have no intentions of going 10's..something fun on the street at the same time, i dont have to worry bout maintenance. i also looked into the 228/230ish duration cams.

I think the yank will be a better on the street than the vig, mine is really tight on the street not lose at all...times in sig Stock internal, thinking about maybe a ms3 and some headers in the near future...
