I have a Rossler TH400 with RMVB and a transbrake. It does not have engine braking in 2nd but it does not bother me.
Its great for sneak attacks on the street, no one can tell when I downshift
I run a 4000 Coan converter and a huge tranny cooler and it works great.
With the 60E I was trashing transmissions left and right now with the TH400 I can't keep a rear end in it.
Dana 60 coming soon.

I have engine braking in 2nd gear in my RMVB th400, mainly because of my gearing. I can go 120mph at the top of 2nd. It could hurt the trans if I let off and forgot to shift to 3rd. My tranny only freewheels in 1st. I cruise around town in 2nd gear quite a bit.

So... Ninetres and everyone else here with th400s/350s with manual VBs and trans brakes:
How are yours setup? Did you opt for the less common with engine braking at least in second or are you free wheeling on the street?
I will be running 3.25s gears....no engine braking. Again, couldn't afford the add ons.

Mr President has 3.50s and he wants to go to 3.08s too, but is gonna wait to see how my 3.25s are. He has a 3600 fuddle stall.

Most of the stalled auto guys including me are running the B&M 24,000 GVW cooler.

B&M 24,000GVW here. I just got my TH400 installed yesterday. I am running a custom SC3000 Yank verter. I need to find a TH400 yoke and get the 9 inch installed so I can measure for my drivshaft. Oh the fun of ordering parts and waiting...

good point (sarcasim). i went 1.391 60' on my cheap fuddle th400 converter on my shakedown runs (on radials). looking for mid 1.3 60' when i sort out the suspension and get the car UNDER 3600 lbs lol.
